Lolita

Sorry that I haven't uploaded in a while, I haven't had much inspiration and I'm also busy re-doing my apartment.
I've really wanted to do something japanese-inspired for some time now. I was obsessed by Japan (music, clothing, manga/anime) when I was younger so this was really fun.
I had really bad light so I'm sorry for the bad quality, the photo also really doesn't do the makeup justice. I think I'm going to make a new version of this when my makeup-room in my apartment is finished.

Enjoy and Sayonara for now!

Sapphire Sky

I really wanted to try out the Energy High Tech Lighter (from Make Up Store) cause I haven't used it that much, so I did this makeup today. I really love this blue color and I wanted a look with color that really pops.
Sadly it doesn't show in these photos but my lips sparkle a bit too. But I'm really happy with the way it turned out, so enjoy!

And now I'm going out for dinner!

Deadly Nightshade

You used to call me DN
That stood for deadly nightshade
Cause I was filled with poison
But blessed with beauty and rage
Ultraviolence - Lana Del Rey

I had a creativity rush last night, this was the result. The look is (obviosly) inspired by the deadly nightshade, a beautiful but toxic plant.

I really didn't plan much beforehand, I just looked at pictures of the flowers and then started. I used all kinds of products and just messed around so I'll skip the product list for this one. I really need to buy a purple lipstick though, for this look I took a dark lipstick and dabbed my lips with eyeshadow since it was just for a photo.

Tip - Tightlining

Here is a little tip for a better eyeliner look! I'm sorry that this is a bit messy cause I was a bit sloppy today, but I think I'll get the point across.
I see alot of people who ony use a liquid eyeliner and mascara, and it really doesn't look good because of the bright line separating the eye and the black line.

In the first picture I only used mascara and a liquid eyeliner (see below for product info as always). In this picture you can clearly see the "bright line" I mentioned.

In the second picture I've used a khol pen to fill the upper lashline and thightlining the upper waterline as well. Do you see the difference? The disturbing "bright line" is gone and the eyeliner is connected to the eye!

Then you could add some lipgloss and you have a really simple but cute look!

Winter Queen

I've always been a fan of fantasy, and some of my favorite books when I was little were Narnia. I loved the thought of the White Witch, and when the movie came out I adored her look. This makeup is inspired by that character and the breathtaking snowy scenery outside.

I originally planned to do a more advanced makeup, but when I came this far I realized that I liked the simplicity. Since I don't have much money I don't actually have a "real" white mascara, I just used the mascara primer that I already have (the same I used in "Frostbite"). I used it on the eyebrows too and did strokes upwards to get a sort of wild/fantasy-ish style.
My new wig also contributed a lot to the overall impression. You can't see it in these pictures but it's really freakishly long!

Enjoy!

Tri Brow Color

Makeup is one of my biggest passions, but it's something I'm not comfortable to go out with myself. I however have one makeup routine I do almost every day. I use powder (Nude Magique BB Powder - Light Skin from L'Oréal Paris) to look more alive since I'm really pale, and then I do my eyebrows.
I have naturally dark and arched eyebrows, so I only fill them in (and I use an eyebrow-knife regularly to keep them from getting to bushy).

As you can see I have a scar in my right eyebrow that I got when I was little, which makes the hair grow a bit different. When I entered my teens this was something I had a huge complex about, but now I've actually embraced it. It's a part of my "look". But over the years I've tried countless things to hide the scar. I even hade the no-eyebrow-look one time, haha!
Today I found another love of my life-product,
making my eyebrows even more fab. The Tri Brow Color from Make Up Store.
